Q: Will you take and use my recipe if I post it here?
A: No. Our recipes for our blends are taken from Rick's grandmother Hazel's recipe book that has been in the family for several generations. She brought this leather bound notebook with her from Austria when she moved here in the early 1900's. In this book are many recipes taken from family friends of different ethnic cultures. Italy, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Austria (of course), etc. Living in 'the big city' she was able to collect other recipes from newly arrived immigrants from their homelands, and entered them into her book. These recipes are carefully matched and blended by our local blender using only the freshest extracts and spices and then immediately packaged to preserve freshness. Due to the expensive nature of blending a new recipe and going through USDA approval, we currently carry the most popularly requested flavors.
