The My Weigh KD-7000 Professional series are easy to clean and easy to use. Double-stopper protection, strong reinforced & removable stainless steel platform, acrylic faceplate protector and modular construction make these scales extremely durable. This scale includes a removable clear LCD cover that protects the buttons and LCD from damage (great for messy recipes, soap making or candle making).  They also come with 3 secondary soft clear faceplate covers (in case you have chemicals on your fingers when you touch the keypad).  With a large 7 kg (15.4lb) capacity and precise 1 gram (0.1oz) readings this scale is an incredible value. These scales are extremely durable and versatile.   Features include: An adjustable or disable-able auto off feature: This is very important to consumers because there are times that you may want to use your scale continuously for a long period of time. If the scale was turning itself off every 5 minutes (for example), this could really interfere with your work. Other times you might want to conserve power and have the scale turn off automatically after 1 minute of use. An adjustable audible beep function: Some people want to hear a "beep" whenever they press a button as confirmation. Other people get very annoyed by this and want the scale to be silent. Thus a beep function with an electronic on/off feature. There is a simple switch at the back of the scale to control the beep function. An adjustable backlight function: You can choose to have the beautiful blue backlight ON or OFF. Likewise for Kilograms some people need 2.5 kilograms to be displayed as "2.500kg" and some people need it to be shown as "2500g".
