Most game gambrels out there are more like coathangers than game gambrels. Designed for butchers, this unit is rated at a very modest 300# carrying capacity. This gambrel is made of 5/8'' diameter 18-8 Type 304 stainless steel rod and is 21-1/2'' wide. The sharp, smooth tips allow easy placement. They are electropolished to create a bright, smooth finish that is easy to clean. It took quite a while to locate such a fine piece of equipment to offer to our customers! These are how they SHOULD be made!
